A year of innovation as Infomill wins award for groundbreaking PartsArena integration with Wolseley UK’s e-commerce website.
There is no doubt 2016 has been a momentous year for Infomill. Between celebrating the company’s 20th anniversary and opening a global office in the US, this year has certainly been one of milestones. One of the highlights however, has been winning the 2016 ECMOD Direct Commerce award in partnership with Wolseley UK for Best Exploitation of Technology Sales. The ECMOD recognizes business excellence for organisations engaged in direct-to-customer retailing across traditional and newly emerging channels. This award comes in recognition of PartsArena’s integration with Wolseley UK’s e-commerce websites Plumb & Parts Center (P&P). Wolseley UK and Infomill have been long time partners and P&P had already been using a basic version of PartsArena in their branches and Customer Support Centres for several years.

One of the reasons that the partnership between these two cutting-edge companies is so successful is because both are dedicated to making life easier for their customers. Seeing the struggle that heating engineers faced in identifying the correct parts, Infomill and Wolseley UK set out to design a seamless solution that would transform the way their customers worked, thus increasing first time fix rates and reducing service costs. Customers tell Wolseley UK they’ve seen a reduction of their daily engineer costs by up to 20%, as well as an increase of one job per day per engineer.
